'19 GA OLB Roman Harrison (Tennessee signee)

First off you are ridiculous, second I doubt you’ve ever been able to bench 410 lbs.

I was just making a dumb joke about the animated gif. I quoted your post because you had the actual weight he was benching. Wasn't making fun of you and certainly not Romain Harrison... he's one of my favorite recruits. I blame the whiskey :)

It’s going to be hard to keep this kid from starting in the fall..... already outlifting most of our players and isn’t even in our weight program..... if he shows that he already has the mechanics and mind, he will start.

Sad thing too , I know North Gwinnett where Warren Burrell played has 3 linemen squatting 500 with 2 in the 550 range. Unfortunately they are all in the 6-2 range..Ole Miss recruiter told my nephew he needed 2 more inches in height. They have a power rb that would fit us coming next year, i think he squated 485 this year.

Here's the thing.
I don't fault the recruiting services for getting this wrong
1) This kid is Old Georgia talent. Bainbridge is not Atlanta area where all the pub is.
2) He's playing NT in high school.

But I'm telling everyone right now. There will be no "transition" period for this kid. He won't need to add weight. The dude is literally a ready made impact player. Right now...
He has all the skill-set already with his hand violence, quickness and bend. And extraordinary burst.

This guy was taking on double teams from SEC lineman and winning! Two 300lbs men trying to block him and he beats them!

30 tackels for loss....and 9 sacks....FROM NOSE TACKLE position as a senior.
God given talent

"Hand violence." Hmmm, too volatile for a butchism, but I like it.

I'll second that and that will make two of them because Crouch will be the other kid

Love the excitement and agree with the sentiment but there is a big difference between Highschoolers with SEC offers and SEC lineman.

Did you copy and paste this from the Peterson thread from last year?

Okay, you've been warned. Stop with the excitement for this player. You're setting yourself up for disappointment. So calm it down in here.
Pump the brakes before you start the car! That way when it doesn’t immediately hit 100 mph, you avoid that meltdown.

Just the Guaranteed instant impact player theme. Kmac and Kongbo broke me from ever believing that again about a recruit. Hope you're right and this cat does everything you hope for!
Got to be a happy medium from completely overdoing it and whatever you’re doing on the bottom there. How about Derek Barnett? Hit the ground running coached by a staff with nowhere near the skins on the wall teaching and developing wise as the current version.

So what about all the examples of guys who do make immediate impacts then? Just ignore those cause 2 guys let you down. We had 3 in the secondary just last year that made immediate impact. Some guys do and some guys don't. Most of these guys will have an opportunity to do it. A few of them will probably succeed and some won't be ready.

Funny thing, the high schoolers with SEC offers, later on become SEC lineman...

And Buford is no regular high school program. Their lineman are much more equppied and just better than other high school lineman!
