Hold up...When I started this thread (when we offered) he wasn't rated on any of the sites.
Now 247 (most accurate rankings, IMO) he's a damned 93.
Boom
He's just celebrating that this one actually went up. Saying 247 is the most accurate isn't saying much relatively speaking. So, yeah, we're still mad.Hold up...
Are we mad at 247 or not?
Practically every other thread they dropped our guys in is saying all recruiting services are trash and meaningless... but since this one went from a 2 star to a mid-tier 4-star... 247 is the most accurate rankings, clearly
You guys are something else man hahaha

I would understand if Crouch had torn his ACL. But from what I understand, his injury was insignificant and he could have come back late in the season had he wanted to but chose not to. His injury isn't that serious.247 is the best and it’s not even close. Just wish Barton toned down a little on his Montgomery Bell/Vandy private school boy hate for the Vols. And be a little more consistent for his reasons for dropping guys. Example, John Emery pulls out the AA game and moves up, Crouch pulls out and drops outside the top100.
Yep, Crouch made a business decision IMO. And after sitting out contact football for so long why risk being injured competing in a All Star game? He has taken a very business like approach to all of this, including which side of the ball he will play on. Kudos to Crouch and kudos to the solid mentor for guiding the young man. That drop was idiotic and one that will bite Barton and the industry in its arseI would understand if Crouch had torn his ACL. It’s hard for me to fault them too much for Crouch’s drop off. He missed his SR season and will play LB in college after spending most of his time in HS primarily as a RB. It seems reasonable to me that that uncertainty would lead them to bump him down a bit. Big upside, but a little hard to project compared to other elite prospects.I would understand if Crouch had torn his ACL. I believe that Crouch has the talent to be a top 10 draft pick when it's said and done. I mean, I realize that I don't know much, but the dude just looks like a freak when he's on the field at whatever position. He only played a few plays at the AA practice because he hurt his shoulder, but VQ said that he was absolutely dominant and unstoppable on those plays. He's a monster.Yep, Crouch made a business decision IMO. And after sitting out contact football for so long why risk being injured competing in a All Star game?
