You have to be here to use up your eligibility. He was still enrolled in school and attending.
Your eligibility starts being used as soon as he enrolled in school. You can't stop that clock. It doesn't matter what else you do during that 4 or 5 years. At least that's the way I understand it.

As much as I hate Ohio State (with a burning passion), I will laugh my ass off if Fields leads them to a NC. Just the thought of the misery it would bring to dawg fans makes me laugh.

Yes. But if you’re not ON THE TEAM you’re not exhausting eligibility either. We’re talking one season with an unburnt redshirt. Moot point. Callahan’s already confirmed he’ll be a RS sophomore.

UGA was one play away from winning, no? Of the 127ish teams that haven’t won a title in the last few years, I’d say they were one of the most successful. Why can’t we enjoy the fact that bowlcut’s dirty tactics seem to be catching up with him, without making stuff up?
Because close only counts in horseshoes, and this is a Tennessee fan page that is supposed to hate all things UGA.

Not inaccurate. Giving credit where credit is due, Kirbs can recruit out his ass. He's signed loads of talent. He just can't do anything with it. That doesn't mean they won't make it to the NFL, it just means their college career will be one of disappointment in not winning the big game.
It was a joke about Kirby, you turned it literal.

Everything said bad about GA is true. There is nothing good about them unless you are a GA fan.

There’s some of, ahem, Vol fans that have become apologists for GA lack of winning the big games. Recruiting in the top five, going to the SECC, Blah blah blah. They’ve attached their fandom to that wagon.
