Let me be extremely clear.....the folks that speak to me privately are aware that right after his last visit to UT I told them it wasn’t going to happen with DW. I also specifically instructed them not to say anything until I gave the ok to. I took the high road the entire time and didn’t allow anything to leak out of respect for the future of our program and our coaches reputation. I knew exactly when he signed those papers and who he had signed with...but I wasn’t about to screw up the possibility of having another kid down the road not trust us.

They got parents coming out against their coach
The top recruit is a heavy Bama lean

If they’re foolish enough to think something isn’t a miss in Athens then I can’t help them. They think it’s business as usual but it’s not.

Trust me when I tell you the folks truly in the know at UGA are aware they have a problem...but in typical form they would never admit it out loud. Just to each other in their private settings. You can only be a ******* when you are winning championships and beating the best in the league consistently.

Its never a good thing when your own coaches hate you more than your rival coaches do. It’s also never good when word gets around that you use people and then drop them once you get what you want out of them. That includes professionally and personally....that stuff gets out...it takes a little while but it gets out. There is only so much money that can cover those types of issues up.

Trust me when I tell you the folks truly in the know at UGA are aware they have a problem...but in typical form they would never admit it out loud. Just to each other in their private settings. You can only be a ******* when you are winning championships and beating the best in the league consistently.

Its never a good thing when your own coaches hate you more than your rival coaches do. It’s also never good when word gets around that you use people and then drop them once you get what you want out of them. That includes professionally and personally....that stuff gets out...it takes a little while but it gets out. There is only so much money that can cover those types of issues up.

I think the politics involved with coley getting the quasai promotion didn't sit well, and was probably a sign of some of the things @Atlanta VOL referenced earlier behind the scenes.

So id guess it probably played some role.

But he does love East Tennessee and Knoxville so I don't think it's a case of him just trying to get out of ga...I do think he wanted to come here.
