if it’s UT(Heupel) vs tOSU(Day) let’s be realist here it will be absolutely NO contest. Success and winning track record vs the budget coaching carousel. While you want to have hope I think the writing is on the wall about this class. I tried to warn ppl on here when all the hell broke loose. It’s a multifaceted problem for recruits to come here. Admin has been a train wreck, ppl don’t trust or care for Plowman, unproven HC, unknowns from the investigation, unproven staff for the most part With no recruiting relationships to UT level player, and for this most want to see what happens on and off the field because other schools are saying things of negativity to recruits daily. Also these guys have been calling a high tier P5 kid and daily they’ve said you talked to Bama and another kid Fla today as the top of the conversation. So the kids have been hitting the ignore button. These guys have to learn pluck the next school let me show you what UT can do for you.
I guess the better response would be to “help” these guys “get it. This is the same administration that was in place outside of AD when Pruitt was hired. It was all good just a week ago. Only time you post is when it’s to speak on how bad our recruits/coaches are. Do us a favor and HELP get better recruits IN!! Since we know their is influence

Did you actually come here to brag that other schools are in a better position to recruit players this year because of the position that AL idiot left our program in? We do realize what Pruitt did and what some recruits are thinking. We also realize that we now have a coach that has been successful as a player and coach his whole entire, complete life and was not afraid to take over the mess Pruitt created with his bought players that were not required to put the effort in to keep their paycheck. He has a true volunteer spirit of the men that actually had the backbone and pride to create the name of Tennessee Volunteers. Why don't you sit back and watch which kids come here that appreciate the type of coach we have and what he is going to do with his players? I don't care where those kids come from or where they are ranked. In fact, because of all the bragging you do about the NPA kids, I almost don't want any of them. I would rather have the QB from Indiana and the DL from FL than the little wimps just looking for the most successful train to jump on so they can say, "Look at me!!! I have done so much!!!"

Forget him and don't let his dumb posts get under your skin. He's a troll and he enjoys his stupid rants.

Yes, only 2 years (24-2), but he is as good, if not better than Meyer. Surrounds himself with some of the best recruiters and positional coaches in the business, (Bryan Hartline, Kerry Coombs, larry Johnson), in fact Days Recruiting has been off the charts. Meyer had some bad coaches, due mostly to loyalty.
Hartline came to OSU in 2017 and Johnson joined the staff in 2014. Meyer was the head coach, so not sure how Day gets credit for bringing them on board. OSU was on autopilot when Day took over. Only time will tell if he can keep it going. Two years as head coach isn't enough to determine if he's a great head coach.

Why do you say people don’t trust or care for Plowman? Swain has the inside scoop and says all the leadership is aligned for the first time in forever.
De1 doesn’t know his head from his a**. He just has a super inflated opinion of himself and rides the coattails of others success.

Are the HS coaches in that area so weak they need some outside clown coaching their players?
It’s not uncommon for athletes to have summer camps they go to. I lived in three different states during 3 summers for baseball during high school. It seems to be a newer concept for football though as far as national traveling 7v7 and such. NPA was just first and Buck did a good job.

I usually agree with your perspective on the program right now and the insight. But man you’ve gone off the deep end with your bashing for UT now and it’s getting old. Let’s figure this out. Why would someone choose UT hmmm idk cuz they love UT. It’s not always cash and gimmicks the way you think. There are some players out there that don’t want or need any of that and play for people they trust.

Someone please tell me Nichols isn't NPA. I'm assuming no with him being in Georgia. We might as well move on to the next one if Nichols has a good relationship with de1 and the other guys over at NPA.

This is a pretty stupid post as we hv NPA guys on the roster and pretty much all jv contributed that we've trained so save the whiny fake narrative for someone else.

gonna save this right here Nostradamus

6-7 more months will prove you correct or otherwise

and may this board show you mercy

probably not

Go Vols !

Save what you want this class is gonna be a 3* extravaganza recruiting battles against UCF and Memphis types. The staff has to build relationships and learn to close. Burns and Garner can't recruit every position for all the others. It's just a fact. We just held a mega star studded camp in Dallas and it was kinda unanimous when asked about UT. Waiting to see the results of the on field product vs SEC comp and sanctions.

What’s your idea of a successful 2021 season? 6-6 and being competitive/exciting in the losses?

shut the **** up you bozo

I mean he’s telling the truth. However it isn’t Heupels fault, he can’t be blamed yet. He’s going to have to overachieve before we can start recruiting top 10 again. Time will tell.

well

top 10 players at their position that we're currently recruiting and in the running for....

I guess it's too early to tell, LOL.

Perhaps it is a stupid post. Maybe time will tell.

Last thing I'll say is this: You may not like to hear this, but it's hard to blame Vol fans for being a little suspicious of NPA when you are consistently critical of Tennessee on here (sometimes over the top critical), even if some of your criticisms of the program are valid.

It’s just going to take some time. We have our QB of the future in the class he looks like he’s going to be a good one. If we overachieve and win a game or 2 we shouldn’t, that’ll get the ball
