'21 GA OT Amarius Mims (Georgia commit)

This
Berry is one of my favorite players of all time but in my mind itā€™s a less impressive get because of his family ties to the program
This. Berry committed to the school his dad played for and for a HC that was on staff during part of the time his father was here. UT landing Mims would be the most impressive Georgia recruiting pull I could name. We landed Jabari while we were on top and DaRick was from a town much closer to Knoxville.

No, Lee Otis Burton was the most impressive recruit out of Georgia.

A lot of people on this board don't even know who he is. He was a DL comparable to Reggie White. He probably wasn't as strong as Reggie but I believe he was faster. I remember Notre Dame's all star halfback running down the field heading for the end zone and Burton caught him from behind. It was amazing.

You talking about Vagus Ferguson? He was a Hubert Simpson wannabe.

Lee Otis Burton may have been the best football player I have ever seen., So sad that he had his blood disorder which ended his playing time at such a young age. Walter Chadwick was pretty good too. Both of these outstanding young men visited the Big Orange Club meetings In Atlanta after their playing days at Tennessee.

AP states on the VQ podcast that itā€™s highly ā€œinterestingā€ that Mims chose to go to Tennessee-Mizz instead of UGhA-Auburn. Not to mention two Tennessee games back to back
