'21 GA OT Amarius Mims (Georgia commit)

Why was this not anticipated? Or, why no in-game adjustment? Is Pruitt admitting Bowl Cut is the superior coach? If defensive team is illegally simulating snap count, this is on the officials - or Vol coaches for not demanding game officials correction.
Why do you think Pruitt was going crazy on the sideline, on the officials.

Name 3 this century other than Dabo who struggled early who became great. Dabo won 9 games his first full season, struggled 2nd season, then it was 10+ after that. Not saying Pruitt can’t right the ship but the Dabo card is overplayed as he is the only one, and he only had one sub500 season at 6-7.
Ok but who is "great"? Who is on your pool of eligible candidates?

Some here will sh** on every coach not named Saban or Dabo. I disagree with the absurd stratification between elite and everyone else, but what are the parameters we are talking here? I think there are probably ~15 great coaches the past 20 years. Fwiw 12 different coaches have won a natty since 2000, though that isn't the end all be all imo. Fulmer coached 7 years this century but didn't win a natty this century. Chip Kelly wrecked everything but didn't win one. And so on.

You'll have to show us your list first. Some equivocate great to elite or generational, so it depends on your definition.

At this point Mims has made his mind up. The best we can hope for is that he sees past last week and looks at it like he can help. I’m prepared for the opposite. I can always hope for the good guys though.

If he chooses UGA it’d be hard to say it was bc of that one game.

He’s a Georgia kid.

He’s been on UGA campus just as much as UT’s campus.

UGA was one of the favorites to land him all along with Bama.

We were 2 td underdogs.

So I would doubt that he was waiting on the outcome of that one game to make his decision.

Very positive and mature outlook. I approve greatly of this message

Agreed 100%. I still think we made a good push. We can only hope it was enough.

Pruitt acknowledged in presser they had our snap counts down and defense was calling it out....repeatedly....that on jg to change it...they just spent their years back and bum rushed our oline all game. That's reason they got manhandled. Pruitt said they would have to change and correct that.....just another shaking your head moment by offense
Sure. I get it, man. But what does this say about JG’s pocket presents?

Optimism from McGill? What in the wide world of sports is going on here?
Hey..🤷‍♂️..I am optimistic when there is reason to be..I have a tiny bit regarding Mims, but in my heart I believe he has been milking the tit and wasting valuable resources that could have been used elsewhere..

But I hope I am wrong and it is the other way around.

It may have if he was 50/50.
