After reading kids words I would say Knoxville and the beautiful mountains and lakes that surround Knoxville is a plus for us. All three programs have wonderful facilities. I believe Coach P and staff will put there best foot forward. Will it be enough to overcome other two?

Maryville, Oak Ridge, Lenoir City, Harriman, Clinton all have housing with beautiful views of mountains, lakes and rivers. Gatlinburg isnt the only pretty area.
agreed. Maryville is perfect example.

City is growing faster than they can keep up. House with same square footage is 80-100K more than i paid for mine. Couple that with City/County and increased cost of living. Fuggitaboutit.

Talked to a young couple in Murvull this week. Said they looked for a spot to build for over a year. You're either going to lose your budget renoing, or pay for it.

My man apparently you don’t do Knoxville right. Knoxville is a very cool city to be in. Plenty of places to eat and drink, a lot of festivals, close to the mountains. It’s a college town. Plenty of commercial stuff and small business stuff to do. It’s way better than it was in the late 90’s. Now I enjoyed Athens when I visited. Auburn was weird to me. But Knoxville is a cool city.

Knoxville is an awesome city. But not only that, compared to most of the SEC college towns we go up against, it might as well be NYC. I mean, does Auburn even have a mall?

Atmosphere for college is a fine balance that I think Knoxville fits perfectly. It needs to have plenty to do, but not be so big that the school doesn’t play a large role in the environment and community. That’s the problem with say, Nashville IMO as far as college environment is concerned.

I'm so glad that I inherited 25 acres from my grandparents. Growing up, I hated having to keep up with it all but now that I'm older, I really appreciate having it. Especially when I hear stories from friends and like what you were saying about the young couple.

Really difficult for middle class families with kids to pull themselves up.

Would love to have the land, esp up in Mts.

With so few spots left, maybe Nieds should be the lead recruiter for any 2020 targets we have left.

Word is Otis Reese will look to transfer from UGA and potentially look at Tennessee, Bama, and Auburn. With Cine passing him on the depth chart and lecounte returning he doesn’t like the look of the depth chart. Kid is still a great talent.

Probably not a good strategy to switch a recruits lead recruiter in the 11th hour..

Could he use the same reason to transfer that Fields used to get clearance for eligibility in 10 days since Fields stated that UGA had a racial environment?
