That’s what most of these D1 line prospects do. That’s why it’s pretty toug to project how they’ll do at the next level when they have to rely more on techniqueSeemed slow footed, didn’t really use his hands well, just seemed to over power his opponents due to being way bigger than everyone else.
For a 4* player, I was expecting more.
He definitely has footwork issues. If he loses 30-40 pounds, that might improve. He also gets high in pass pro. He could be a good right guard where it’s more run block and hide some pass pro deficiencies. He did well when defenders tried to cross his face. He’s never going high in the draft, but I would have liked him in our class. Heup’s O would have forced him to slim down to keep pace.
