Sham, Grant, and Duncan are some other young OL on the roster who have upsides too. It’ll be Georgia and that’s okay. We’re loaded with young talent along the OL. Sanders, Nic Moore, and Utu alone are gonna start a lot of games here. Satterwhite, J. Heard, and Perry from last year have been getting a lot of positive buzz. Ginther, Anderson, and Warren have a loooot of potential.
Feels like we have an embarrassment of riches all of a sudden.
I mean the same could be said about teams like UGA, Bama, OSU, LSU and Clemson almost every year. But they always sign elite OL classes. Obviously it’s more than playing time. It’s winning, money, the coaching staff and other things.I just don’t see what’s attractive about being a current OL prospect to uga right now. After the last two classes, they have a 4 deep of prototypical lineman. I’d rather go somewhere that playing time and attention are more likely, all other factors similar.
-VQOffensive lineman Juan Gaston will announce his decision on Friday and it’s anyone’s guess as to where he picks. We have said the fact he doesn’t talk would create a lot of chatter from all sides. I think most schools in his final group have felt optimism at some point the last few weeks. Most believe it will be Georgia but with Gaston the only thing that is for sure is nothing is for sure.
Never heard that before. Let's save time. Edit school names and copy/paste in every recruit thread.Sources are telling me if he picks UGA then we just bowed out of this one. Georgia was offering way too much NIL in this recruitment. We decided not to match. But if he picks the vols it means we won this battle and our relationships and development pitch won out.
