UT was apparently most of their dream schools, but that was lost during the Jones years. He thinks its picking back up some steam.

I know it should all be taken with a grain of salt, but it was exciting to hear that. He's feeling pretty good about a couple of the guys mentioned, but he wouldn't specify.

Normally don't see a QB commit for the next class when there isn't one for the current one but then again he is better than any QB in this class we have pursued so it would make sense. He def loves some Vols

Gives him a full year and a half to peer recruit, as a 5 star QB.

You’d think the staff has made it more than obvious they’re slow playing a QB this cycle because he’s the priority. Seems that way to me, anyway.

Yep. Makes me think we go after a JUCO guy this cycle or none at all.

Id say they want at least a silent from him and they will stop recruiting qbs and maybe take another grad transfer qb with one year eligibility to fill chryst spot in the qb room. Perhaps they already have a silent from him.

I dont know if a silent would be enough to just stop recruiting QBs. There is always that chance he could change his mind.

I understand he could change his mind but there are also other great qbs in the 2020 class that would be interested in us. But dont see this one turning sour. Truly believe he will be a vol when all said and done. Not insider info just my educated opinion.

Different staff... but Man, have said similar things about QB’s in recent years
