'20 GA QB Harrison Bailey (UT SIGNEE)

I just texted Elijah.. dude just told me he hasn’t talked to Harrison in over a month and doesn’t know what that guy was taking about.

And before y’all ask how or why I’m texting a recruit, my cousin (Neyland Jean) is his teams QB and they’re only about 3 years younger than me.

I believe you.

This kid better have big big balls, and hopefully the stuff we are laoding on to him. A lot of pressure is an understaement. Might be hard to temper expectations, but, he better be a confident and strong kid to walk into this lions den.

He either better be the next coming of Brady/Manning or he better have resolve, thick skin, and perseverance. This place will be unforgiving if he doesn't play better than average.
I don't know. Kinda like our whole football program. Used to be disappointed with 8 win seasons, now we're tickled with 6 wins. Same at QB, he'll be a star if he's average after what we're experiencing now.

Goodnight. Sorry for sharing my Info. Don’t be surprised if he flips, not saying he is, but don’t be surprised.
The sun's coming up tomorrow but don't be surprised if it's not.

Have the nads to stand up if you think you're right, quit waffling.

They appeared to have more playmakers on offense, but just could not put it in the endzone enough. QB was good and Kentel Williams needs more touches. That first drive was very impressive.
back up qb at that.....Glad to see ETSU successful though.

Perhaps the issue with his lack of mobility isn't from the concrete in this shoes but rather the weight of his giant balls.

shrout was like 29tds to 24 ints (1.2 tds for every pic)
Bailey is 9tds to 5 ints. (1.8 tds for every pic)

I wouldn't call that anywhere close to Shrout like.
I thought Shrout's TD/INT ratio was much worse than that. I seem to remember it being something like 32 TDS and 34 ints.

Think it depends on the source (maybe some are counting some games and not others), but Maxpreps lists Shrout at 27 TDs, 25 INTs, so almost 1 to 1.

That's always been one of my biggest concerns with Shrout. On the other hand, you could argue since he was only a 1-year starter, maybe he has more room to improve on accuracy that some other QBs. The other thing is that I don't think his HS team had much in the way of a running game, so it's likely that the D knew they were going to pass it the vast majority of the time.

Though, honestly, given our QB problems right now, a guy who can throw a bunch of long bombs that are 50/50 is probably an improvement.
