'20 GA QB Harrison Bailey (UT SIGNEE)

Don't like the completion rate or TD to Int ration. Some are saying it's because of the competition he's facing. He's going to face a lot tougher in the SEC. A lot of you are laying your future hopes that this kid comes in a starts day 1. IMHO I just don't see it.

Lol the interceptions came from one bad game. Good job scouting anything before you decided to grace us with your thoughts.

dont want to heap unrealistic expectations om Harrison. But any competitor comes in and sees a massive opportunity.

Not been a lot of info here lately so I got curious and checked out his Twitter. Last 4 people he's followed is the director of recruiting and a coach at Maryland, and QB coach and official recruiting site for Michigan State. Could mean nothing or...…...

stalkin' the tweet tweet with recent follows ain't stirring'?
I don't think so. More like preparing. There is no news coming out of Marietta and I find that a little odd considering the amount of info that we use to get on HB. Even the dude who supposedly knows him has went silent in here.

I would expect all of our current commits to put out some feelers to create some options in case Pruitt is fired. Would be stupid no to.

If you would read around instead of just posting “if Pruitt is fired” you would know that he isn’t going anywhere this year.

It doesn't matter what I believe. It matters what the recruits and their Families believe. You know they are hearing the opposite of what we believe from many other people around them and other coaches.

Ok I’ll send the article to every recruit that has a TN offer just to reassure them that Pruitt isn’t going anywhere. Like come on, you’re crazy if you don’t think Fulmer has told these kids this already.

I actually agree with you that I think Fulmer has re-assured all the commits that Pruitt's job will not be in jeopardy this year. I actually hope we keep Pruitt for at least 4 years to really give him a chance to show his system works.

However, I am not naive enough to never say never. The wheels could really fall off this year if the whole team were to quit on Pruitt. Plus .. the commits are hearing predictions that "Pruitt will be fired" from many analyst and reporters. One even predicted he would be fired this coming Monday.

All this puts Pruitt's recruiting in a catch-22 where it is Pruitt/Fulmer's word vs most everyone else. This is why once it starts to snowball downhill, it is hard to recover. Fulmer would have to stomach the backlash and leave Pruitt in place even if he starts to lose many recruits/players and the fans quit showing up to games.

One of the real problems with firing a coach when you have a major QB for the incoming class is that unless you have a universally respected QB guru as the incoming coach, you are likely to lose that QB at a time when all the other decent QB's in the cycle are already firmly committed elsewhere. Heck, even the 2021's are getting snapped up already. Going into next year with Maurer and Shrout (if they don't decide to bolt) and whatever leftover misfit toy we could pick off the scrap heap would be putting the next coach in a huge hole right off the bat.
