My opinion: it was to bring attention to the class, not himself.
Maybe even the attention of anyone still deciding.

He is going to be a program changer. He was shredding D1 defense prospects before he could drive a car. Gonna be fun to watch.

Secking just said point blank that it was Michigan, "Unless something changed in the last 7 days". But Bailey said nothing changed in that timeframe.
