'21 GA RB Cody Brown

Way it seems from what I’ve read on him, it’s more like 70/30-80/20. He loves him some Tennessee. I really want this kid here.
I would have said the same but Auburn and if it’s true that we want Evans then idk. If we take evans over Brown, I’ll be pisseddddddd

Ahhh. Maybe they’re just keeping all their chess pieces in front of them. Y’all know how smart this bunch is. But at the end of the day I trust their judgment over mine. The eye test tells me I want Brown way more. I think Tiyon is way too small at 5’9. Regardless of the fact he’s 200 lbs. Cody could grow into a legit 235 lb back. The likes of what we’ve seen Bama use so much. Like Bo Scarborough.

We’ve been recruiting on par with Auburn and Florida the last two years. Need to beat those guys now to jump into the top 5 classes. Let’s see what happens the next next two seasons, they will be Pruitts most important. The 2020 class and 21 class will decide our future.

They've been the single biggest thorn in our side for a very long time regarding recruiting
We find ourselves in a lot of battles with them. I would say they have a slight edge on us, but we still win some. We need to swing it where we win more of those battles than we lose.

@TrippieRedd man..honestly I appreciate the humble positive approach on this topic but where would you like me to start on how many recruits Auburn has stolen from us in recent years, that we were destined to have up until the last minutes of the announcement lol

That was more under Butch and Dooley than it was under Pruitt. They are tough to recruit against, but we have been doing much better since Pruitt got here.

Off the top of my head the only person who meets that description is Jay Hardy. We were confident in Owen Pappoe for a time but that trended Aub way before the announcement.

I could almost see an argument for Charles Moore in 2019 but there were questions about his injury history and he's already at Oregon State. Desmond Tisdal showed intrest I'm UT but chose Aub and he would have been a great pickup.
