'21 GA RB Cody Brown

He's a 4.7 forty at best.

Tough kid. But the coaches have taken two other RB commits before him. Howard is a KR/DB prospect so I don't count him.

This dude has always seemed very excited about the program...yet no commitment.

It seems to me he's down the priority list for the coaches a little bit.

Wright and Evans have home run ability. Wright will be 215 by his freshman season running a 4.3.
Evans is a stud with very good speed.
On top of having Gray, Small, Hodge, Whitehead.

I'm not sure Cody Brown is better than Tee Hodge, and Hodge will be 3rd at best for 3 years on the depth chart.
Thanks for your ncaa 14 UT dynasty roster.

He was the best RB in GA as a JR. He is good.

If anyone watched the Oregon team a lot when they were in the playoffs that season they had 2 running backs both built like Bama’s RB’s (Thomas Tyner and Royce Freeman) they had a 3rd back that was built more like Gray (Byron Marshall) and put him at slot that whole season because of that. Do you guys think we would do that with Evans, Gray and Brown?
IMO Gray will be considered one of the better backs in CFB entering 2021season. They will feature him in the backfield but his carries will mirror Swift's, not to much but still leads the team. Evans & Brown will immediately jump everyone not named Eric Gray. I can see Evans returning kicks as well.

A lot more to being a great running back than just 40 time. Kid is dominating the best classification in GA with that “4.7 40.”
Yep, this kid was born to be a running back. You can tell it's in his DNA, he has that special back feature. It's almost like a surgeon or a musician. He's the type of back you sit back and watch him bring home the W when you have a 10 point lead towards the end of the 3rd quarter. Get in his groove and bring the same agony us Vols have endured watching our defense play solid for 2 and half quarters and then watch Bama or UGA backs just start breaking off 10 yard runs after 10 yard runs until they finally pop a 60 yarder and takes all the air out your entire team.

Dude Gray is nice af. He's no 3rd down back. I think he can be the next JK Dobbins. I dont give a damn if Zach Evan's jumps in, give me Gray all day.

If he plays like last year, hope he likes the bench. Gotta step it up
I’ve seen this take before on here, and I don’t understand. Chandler has led the team in rushing each of the last two years. He averaged a full yard more per carry than Jordan each year, and he was averaging a full yard more per carry than Gray prior to the Vandy game. Chandler only gets benched if Gray continues what he did in the last two games. Otherwise, Chandler is our best back by a wide margin.

Gray is the better back at the his point and it's not even close imo. Chandler may of lead the team on yards last year, but he never had a takeover game. He was just serviceable. Now in 2018 he was much more of a baller. I'm just saying he clearly regressed last year. Seemed to lack speed and vision he had in 2018. I want him to do well, I think he's certainly capable of having a good season.

I posted this in the Mims thread but I think it needs to live in here as well:

This was from a UGA article in SI that was done early April:

Another big and I mean BIG factor in Brown's recruitment is none other 5-Star offensive tackle and fellow Peach State product Amarius Mims. Mims posted a plea for fans to go follow Brown to his Instagram story on this past Friday. The text on the picture said, "go follow my future RB!!". The photo just so happened to Brown donning the red jersey and silver britches of the Georgia Bulldogs on a visit earlier in the year. When asked if he and Amarius Mims were definitely going to end up at the same school, Brown shot back, "Yea wherever he goes is where I'm going and vice versa."

Things have (DRASTICALLY) changed. 😎

Georiga, Ohio State, Bama, Clemson all have multiple blue chip RB’s. We lose 3 rb’s after this year, and it’s no secret that Whitehead and arguably Hodges bright side is at LB. We can sale (Wright, Evans, & Brown) that we can extend their careers by splitting reps up between 4 really good backs.
