Babbling about being a mature adult and then coming in fast with the grammar smack. You're a walking contradiction. Some people refer to that as a hypocrite. I tend to not want to interact with hypocrites. So I guess it works itself out. I only come off as a prick to you because you are fragile just like Gibbs. You're too dense to see why I would call him a pinhead and refer to it as 'something I don't like'. I don't care where he ends up. Has nothing to do with me not liking something. Just think his reasoning is silly as are the people that back his silliness.
I’ve seen several comments on here saying Alabama is the place he will land. He doesn’t seem to fit the Alabama type running back. Alabama usually are backs. I don’t consider him a big back. It’s like Kamara at Alabama, it’s not that he wasn’t good he just wasn’t an Alabama type running back.
If you had a bad experience at a restaurant, they changed ownership and have shown to be incredibly improved and you still won't go back because of that one bad experience, you're just as nonsensical as Gibbs. That's a ridiculous mindset.
Who had 1400 yards his entire career while playing all 4 years...and Drake is 6'1" while I've seen Gibbs listed at 5'9"
Because bama had 1 year of a so so OL, I would hardly call their lines less than they used to be. Year end and year out they have been tough at both sides of LOS. Them are positions that have to be tough to win consistently in the sec. See Georgia. The biggest reason the tide has struggled at times this year is their D hasn’t been it’s normal dominant self and the O-line has been inconsistent at times. They could have easily lost 3. They are a little lucky and their freshman quarterback has stepped up at big times. Auburn made him look normal until the 4th quarter. But bama plays hard even when not pretty and that is a sign if a true team.Bamas offense is different than it use to be. Prolific qb and less than the best oline in the country. He might actually do well there. He would do well here too, probably better, but not surprised bamas in contention.
You are leaving off special teams, Drake had near 1200 total yards his SR year. Gibbs will be used very similar to how Drake was his SR year which he had 408 rushing, 276 receiving and 505 returning.
Gibbs will just get more touches, he is such a mismatch in the slot.
Certainly nobody’s doubting the level of talent or competition on that team relative to the rest of the country. Just saying they moved from not caring about the qb position in sabans early years with olines that literally mauled people and got 6 yards a pop on iso runs no matter who was in the backfield to now focusing on the guy under center and that’s opening the door for more versatile pass catchers like kamara/Gibbs type to be successful there compared to the earlier years where they would t get highlighted/utilized as much. And i think back to when UT had olines that gave up less sacks than anyone in the country and while it was statistically impressive, it still wasn’t seemingly as physically imposing as the type of run heavy olines bama used to have. And i think you’re seeing more of that at bama which is why they, as talented as they are, seem a bit less impressive as olines of the past.Because bama had 1 year of a so so OL, I would hardly call their lines less than they used to be.
