Says on 247 that they gave him this initial rating in June but have not evaluated him since. Doneiko Slaughter at Roswell Recruit Rank History

Rivals has him as a 4 star. Maybe when he commits to the Vols this week 247 will actually evaluate his senior film.

He‘s definitely better in run support but he doesn’t have the speed or versatility MM had. Almost a wash but I like the way this kid hits.

Yeah slaughter will be a good player but he’s more of a SS/nickel. McDaniel could have been an elite FS here with his speed

Kid has way better instincts than Mordecai. Instincts as a safety (make you play faster - even if you don’t have the same speed). Kid is going to be very good. Could easily push for a starting position next year.

McDaniel sees ball, lounges toward ball.

Always thought that was gonna have to be coached out of him by Ansley and Pruitt before he’d ever see the field here. It doesn’t matter how fast you are if you aren’t playing tough. I don’t see the toughness in McDaniels game I do in Slaughters.
