Do we take six or sevens DBs?

If Blades, Hill, Burrell, Fields, and Harris are already in the boat, is it possible to add McCollough and Bush or Huff? How are they making these numbers work?

Simmons just said our mods would know if he was a take or not, but Jaylen told him he talks to Pruitt multiple times a week.

We could feasibly take 7 dbs this year. We got a lot of dlineman last year and the majority of the ones that moved to offense will be moved back. 7 box guys and 7 backend guys.

Sounds like this guy wants in but teams aren’t letting him in. Odd recruitment.

If UT doesn't take him, then he will be a Gamecock imo. Right now, McCollough and his family would be shocked if he is not a take, so we will see how it plays out

Last I spoke with Jaylen he felt that he was a take for Tennessee. He hears from Kelly regularly and has had a strong relationship with Pruitt since the beginning of his recruitment. He speaks highly in regards to Kelly. The DB situation makes his recruitment interesting in regards to Tennessee though. The need for immediate playmakers at cornerback may make it harder for him to get in this class. He’s also in between positions potentially like many of you have mentioned and that may be why they pursue elsewhere when it’s all said and done.

I think the inside linebackers are sorta in the same boat as the WRs. We need to thin the herd a little. And need some bigger STAR types. Some others besides TKjr are going to be matriculated after this season.

Can you get the scoop on him for us. I like his game and have wanted him. With that little nugget of info it makes me hope. Lol

I don't know why he wouldn't be a take. Kids a baller on tape..been a confusing recruitment for me to follow because most people got down on him because of one camp where he ran bad but the kid was on a few hr road trip visiting us. Road legs in the cold ofncourse he will run heavy

Could be the money position in the dime. They're usually a hybrid safety linebacker type that sounds like Jaylen. He would seem to be the perfect fit imo and Pruitt may be recruiting him specifically for that role.
