Secondary has been a weakness for several coaching staffs. It’s now solid.

Pretty sure Gibson was his, McCoy was a transfer that he recruited, Jordan Matthews will be good as well, obviously Boo. There are really none that are playing currently that are from a previous coaching staff except for will brooks i guess.

It may not be the way you like it, but what they’re doing is working. Have you ever thought that maybe Heup understood the lack of talent and depth in the secondary the last few years once he walked into this mess? There’s a chance he’s working with more information than you are when it comes to staff moves.

I guess we'll see, but right now it's undeniable he's a poor recruiter, and we've had one good year of secondary play under him and three very bad ones. I'm not calling for him to be fired but it's absurd to act like it's not a valid concern

So i was right lol…. God has nothing to with it. I dislike when people blame doings on god/devil when in reality, its people making their own decisions for the better or worse lol

What a terrible take (and I’m not even really a Martinez guy)

He recruited Rickey Gibson who has been great all year. He played a role in getting McCoy here. Our secondary has been our biggest improvement and you want fans to be upset with him??

I swear we could be 12-0 right now and we’d have people finding something to complain about.

That whole school is Bulldog country. I warned about this a few months ago. Thought though we were fine. If he’s going anywhere else like Florida, I am shocked.

Lol. Have you seen their recruiting???? They will have a class virtually identical to ours with this flip. They have tons of momentum.
