-VQSavannah, Ga. tight end Michael Smith didn’t make it in last weekend. At this point, he will need to make it in for the Vols to have a chance in this one. We believe he has every intention of not ending up at South Carolina but at some point he’s going to need to take a trip. Auburn would be the other potential destination besides Tennessee.
So you saying SC is laying a bigger bag than we are?Is it odd? Saying that in most deadpan way possible. The silence is deafening.
'Wants to go anywhere but SC.'
'Doesnt want to take any visits.'
'Continuing dialogue.'

Well, with as many kids as we've been in on and whiffed due to funds, or don't want to spend/use funds this year, you have to step back and speculate... Something is going on...what, we don't exactly know, but plenty of kids are choosing to go elsewhere when they've stated we are in the top 2-3, but don't close the deal.so says the guy who does nothing but rag on Spyre. which is it? are they good or do they suck?
Might be as simple as we don't think they are in the right expenditure bracket. Might be a timing thing as the board gets smaller and we go in with some late offers when they are at the top of need area alocated a slot. Way to early to be making analysis on our NIL plan and execution. Holding onto the funds till the early portal entries are in is my guess for conservative methodology so far.Well, with as many kids as we've been in on and whiffed due to funds, or don't want to spend/use funds this year, you have to step back and speculate... The OTHER issue I think is involved centers around this year's kids value relative to the guys in the room already. Is he worth having to increase those other guys or risk the experienced guys hitting the portal? Probably enough problems having to deal with increases for guys you got at a bargain the last few years. I fear too many over simplify the whole NIL management issues. Lots of moving part$.Maybe they just put UT in top 2-3 to drive up their price bc they know UT has a strong presence in the NIL space.
Would it make everyone feel better if we weren’t named a finalist for elite recruits?
It could be our NIL, but it could also be an ever changing different thing from recruit to recruit.Well, with as many kids as we've been in on and whiffed due to funds, or don't want to spend/use funds this year, you have to step back and speculate... Says the guy obsessed with my opinions on Spyre. lol. I don’t know if they are good or not. Going by what has happened this season I would say they aren’t very good. If SCs NIL really won out here then that’s sad. Especially since people say we have “the #1 collective.” Feel free to disagree and complain about my posts. You are great at it.so says the guy who does nothing but rag on Spyre. which is it? are they good or do they suck?
