'19 GA TE Sean Brown (Tennessee signee)

Let's hope he goes through with his announcement. I don't think there was ever any doubt he was going to continue to pick up SEC offers, including big ones like LSU. He is a far better looking prospect on his tape than his current rankings would suggest.

I'd rather he waits till he truly ready to commit. Rather that than a flip down the road.

Ole Miss sucks and LSU will be coach hunting sometime soon.

LSU's schedule is pretty tough this year. Miami week one should be a tough game (though I think Miami isn't as good as their 10-3 record last year would suggest). They have to play UGA this year as well. Hard to tell what Mullen will be able to make out of UF in year one. SECW is always a grind. But they will be playing 5 opponents in year one of coaching/scheme changes.

With how they recruit and Aranda running the defense, you can expect them to be anywhere from good to great defensively. Will be interesting to see what their new offense does with Ensminger calling the shots, though. I'm not sure I see him doing much with them.

They're tough to pin down this year. I could see them only winning 6-7 games and more or less imploding. I could also see them play defense at such a high level that they pull out all of their games against those 5 teams with new coaches, take care of business against their 3 cupcake opponents, and maybe steal a win against Miami or Auburn (which would put them at 9-3).

I think they probably end up 8-4 with a win against a team like Miami or Auburn as well as a loss to some mid-tier west opponent. Question is how long will LSU fans put up with Orgeron if he continues to string together middling 8 or 9 win seasons.

Florida State tight ends coach Telly Lockette made his way to Rome (Ga.) Coosa on Monday. He was there to evaluate three-star tight end Sean Brown.

Lockette expressed to Brown's coach the reason for the visit.

"He was just getting a personal look at me and wanted to let me know they are interested," Brown said.

The 6-foot-5, 245-pound tight end has 16 offers to date, including Auburn, LSU, N.C. State, Tennessee and more.

let's lock this kid up and call it a day at TE. Will both end up with offers from everyone and both will end up high 4 stars. Gotta wrap this up and move to the next hogs

TE isn’t really a position that’s highlighted at a lot of the summer camps. Lineman on both sides have opportunities to shine. As do skill position players. TE just doesn’t have a ton of camp focus.

I would say QB is the hardest to project. You have more misses on 4* and *5 QB's than any other position.

OLineman would be my pick as hardest to project. Especially kids from small programs who play against weak competition.

Camps can't really simulate actual OL situations.

You definitely could be right. OL and QB would definitely be the top 2 I believe.

Which means so far this class consists of a four star interior lineman, a blue chip "franchise" tackle, two inline blocking tight ends who are also deceptively talented receivers, and two big defensive lineman.

Building from the inside out. Won't be long before we're bullying teams. I love it.
