Lol spot on

What's the consensus on why this kid is ranked so poorly?

It's early, and TEs don't don't get much love in the rankings, especially blocking TEs. He seems like a really good player and a good fit for what we want our TEs to do. I think his ranking will improve, but I'm not worried about it at all

Thanks. Committing to us should give him a boost. Gladly To get a blocking TE

I’ll be happy if we actually use tight ends in the passing game. It’s rare in college football.

We definitely will. Pope had a reception in the O&W game, and Wolf had the games highlight reception to close it out. Pruitt has been very complimentary of Wolf. And you know that we wouldn't have been able to steal Woods-Anderson from UA without selling him on the TE's use in our new offense.

Add to that, I can't remember if it's a quote from an article I read here, or if Sean Brown said it in a video interview I watched since last night, but he made a comment how "they" (coaching staff) see tight ends as the most versatile players on the field. My interpretation of that is we're not just going to have inline blockers and nothing more out of the position.

One thing I'll say about Brown is it will be very interesting to see how Tennessee utilizes a guy like Austin Pope in that H-back role this year. Brown is tailor-made for that spot in college, too. He's going to play a lot of H-back for Coosa this year, with him as the No. 1 target on "around 50 percent of the pass plays," per Brown.

i just like seeing him finish off runs by lowering his shoulder and running through people, we need more of that.
