Sounds like it has been a good weekend for the Vols with five-star WR Mike Matthews and four-star WR Amari Jefferson. They were clearly two of the biggest priorities for Tennessee going into the weekend, and I think the Vols have impressed both of those guys and at least should have some positive momentum coming out of the weekend.

Two most noteworthy things he said IMO was that he'd like to have a decision made by the end of the summer and that his big question coming in was what everybody else outside of Knoxville says about UT's offense. Said UT's coaches simply told him that his skillset translates to anything.

Also mentioned he's done with visits this month. Won't take an OV to Alabama.

The top Vol, Josh Heupel’s, message was also apparent during the visit to Matthews and stood out.
“He was telling me how they like to get the ball in their best player’s hands to try and make plays,” Matthews said of this. “He feels like my body type and the type of player that I am; I’m able to be spread across the field as a receiver. I’m not too big; I’m not too small. I’m in the middle and can do it all. He likes that about me and really thinks I’m going to be able to be a great player in his offense. They said with the type of skills I have, they would be able to get me in space and let me make big plays.”

“Love it,” Matthews said on this. “It is a great city. Students love it. Parents love. Coaches love it. Players love it. When it is a good community, it is really hard to stop.”
“Tennessee has always been a top school, but it really stood out to me. This was probably my most different visit. I really had fun. Connected to the players, other families, coaches, and players. It was real good.”

“I might be able to squeeze in some more visits, but really, I just wanted to get through my official visits and break everything down. I am fixing to go on a break because I have been running around all this month. So I am probably heading toward the commitment phase.”
