'24 GA WR Mike Matthews (Tennessee)

Most important recruit left on our board imo.

This is the type of recruit whom can take the offense to a whole another level.

Not to mention, he’d be our highest ranked WR since Justin Hunter.

Completely disagree. I want Matthews as bad as you. But we still need OL and DL much more.

Arch Manning was the same way. So was Trevor Lawrence and Quinn Ewers. All of the were called once in a generation QBs.

As was DJ Uiagalelei. He had 101 ranking at 247. Now he lost his job to a true FR and transferred. Lawrence was great. But evaluating HS QB's and predicting their future is the hardest position to evaluate. You never know how they will handle everything Mentally. Can they handle the pressure that position endures, can they lead a team and bounce back after throwing a pick 6? They can give all the tests they want, but nobody knows how a QB will do till they get to college. They can have all the tools, but not have it upstairs.
