We got this.... VOL.
If this kid goes to another school, sorry guys but it will be officially time to take a step back and possibly re-evaluate what folks on here have been saying this cycle on our ability not to be able to close.
Yes we are getting some good talent and did so last year, but we must close on elite talent in order to get to the next level. If Heup can't close, then we need to adjust our expectations of this program for the next few seasons- but I think he gets it done.
With that said, I think we get this kid, Spillman, Bates, Cole, Warren, Singleton maybe, Okoye, and maybe Jefferson-- total toss up. Wingo would be a total surprise along with Ross.
CLEARLY BVS is strong in this one.
We can play him at safety in prevent. He can score a offensive TD and defensive TD in the same game vs UGA.So I saw a YouTube video talking about Matthews. The guy isn’t an inside just a fan but he said something interesting. He mentioned about how he could be an elite DB. He said Matthews is one of those guys (in his opinion) that UGA puts in the secondary and becomes a stud. My question is does anyone think we are possibly recruiting him for defense?

Nope... recruiting him purely as a receiver. That's what helped us jump out in the lead early. Georgia was initially recruiting him as a safety and other schools were throwing the athlete pitch at him, saying he could play where he wanted. We went hard with the WR pitch from the beginning and stayed consistent. So I saw a YouTube video talking about Matthews. The guy isn’t an inside just a fan but he said something interesting.
