not what he could of been at WR
who the hell said he was a disappointment overall?Guy sets program record for all purpose yards in his only season of Division I football and is periodically labeled a disappointment on this site
I’ve never understood it
Back when he was here, scoring TDs in every possible way and piling up yards on one of the most prolific offenses in team history, people complained it was Dooley’s misuse of him that was his undoing
Lol
Many good/great college players don't translate to the NFL.If you think Marcus Nash was a great wide receiver, feel free to explain his NFL career. I'll even help you by giving you the illustrious details.

Bwahahahhaha oh boy. Are you only old enough to use wiki and what they tell you is legit ? How about checking UT record books. He wasn't a hall of famer. But he is one of the best statistically UT has ever seen.If you think Marcus Nash was a great wide receiver, feel free to explain his NFL career. Define who "matters".Nobody that matters said it.
Y'all argue over the dumbest stuff.
Thought the subject was his career AS A VOL By that criteria...GREAT.If you think Marcus Nash was a great wide receiver, feel free to explain his NFL career. I'll even help you by giving you the illustrious details.

Right...he had good college stats because Peyton was his QB. Joey Kent had even bigger college stats, and he was a bust in the NFL as well. Playing WR on a team with Peyton at QB was a goldmine for wide receivers. Just ask Brandon Stokley.Bwahahahhaha oh boy. Are you only old enough to use wiki and what they tell you is legit ? I don't know how this particular discussion started. I responded to a post that stated that Marcus Nash was very talented. I responded that his greatest talent was being on a team with Peyton. Neither Marcus Nash nor Joey Kent could last on an NFL team, and they were both quickly out of the league. Yes. They had good college stats. No. They weren't extremely talented.Thought the subject was his career AS A VOL By that criteria...GREAT.
So by that reasoning JOEY KENT wasn't talented? Think ya gonna get retorts, Gus!I don't know how this particular discussion started.
