So if they didn't do it at the NFL level, they weren't talented. I'm going to utilize you superpower of not caring what the other person in a conversation thinks.
Same guy thinks LaMarcus Coker's potential was bum-like. Some people don't like 4.2 40's, I guess.

Peyton is my favorite athlete of all time...I grew up with him in my living room every weekend for 20 years....
On one of the greatest plays in Vol history, he made the simple 7 yard throw, and Joey Kent did the rest.
As he did time and again.

Joey, along with Peerless, are my two favorite Vol WR, with Jauan and Jalin right there behind them.

It was the epitome of awesome, along with the epitome of heartbreaking. However, overall, it was glorious.
I watched it start to come together in the 80’s. 1989 was the year that started us being competitive throughout the 90’s. 85 and 89 we were close to winning it all as well. And we won 4 in a row on Bama from 82-85. The 80’s had some mixed results with a few up and down years but overall we were competitive. GBO!

Meacham, Swain, and Bret Smith. Hunter and Da’rick are better than this class. If you get Jefferson then maybe not.

Vols got 1 great year from both Hunter & Rogers but neither were together except their freshman yr. Hunter got hurt in 3rd game at Florida & Rogers got booted the next yr.

I’m almost 50 so yes. Won’t take another run like that for granted again.
Unfortunately, a lot of the media and outside fans believe UGA is headed for a dynasty. I still have to see it myself. New QB, new OC (I don't care what anyone says without Todd Monken, I think UGA's championship drought continues). I'm hoping we can go on another nice run with Heupel and considering we have a good AD now.

It was awesome.

It absolutely was. A helluva era for Vol Football. I want feeling again, hopefully we are headed in that direction again. I always remember hearing non Vol fans talk about us being an NFL factory and our players were just built differently. From their size to their speed. I moved to Ala the year before we went on our run against Ala. Even though fans hated us, they atleast respected what the Vols had and wanted to be like us. We obviously haven't had that in 20+ yrs. Just like we knew we would have elite recruiting classes, which made the 1 signing day so much fun.
