By substituting your own judgment and questioning the validity of the outcome, you’re essentially saying that process is no longer sufficient.

I could respect that, if it was universal and there was some thought directed towards improving the process. I could respect it if it was based on anything substantially out of the ordinary that went on with his trial.

It’s mostly not either of those things. In fact, most of the complaints about this particular trial are so frivolous that they evince an outsized faith in the jury trial process.

But Trumpkins need a reason to question the outcome to preserve their perceived validity of their political identity because they stupidly made Chauvin an avatar for “conservatives” in their dipshit culture war.

It’s the same reason they can’t accept the validity of the Mueller appointment or the initiation of either impeachment. Same reason they couldn’t accept the outcome of the Roger Stone trial. It’s the same reason they can’t accept the results of the election. It’s the same reason they need to pretend that January 6 wasn’t violent.

“If we don’t like it, we don’t accept it. If we don’t accept it, it isn’t real.” That’s the new modus operandi of the Republican Party, or at least the people who associate affiliation with the party as a core part of their personal identity.

Many AA's were hung for "raping" (aka having sex with consent) white women. I guess they really were guilty rapists since the established process found the outcome.

The process can be flawed. Just because a verdict was agreed upon does not make it just or justice. Is that the case in the Chauvin trial, I'm not sure but it was very political and some jurors have said as much.

Manslaughter I'm fine with, no doubt in my mind. Murder I'm not as convinced of personally but a jury agreed it met the criteria laid out by law.

Your assertion the right is the only side engaged in "culture war" is hilarious, surely you know better than that. The comment about it being "dipshit" just adds to the hilarity when considering you omitted the left and their idiocy in the contribution to said war.

I get not liking a politician but stating they committed crimes without charges, conviction or even any proving evidence just adds to the divided nature of things

I’m not saying innocent until proven guilty is wrong..I’m just saying even before Cosby said that, the majority I read on this board claimed him guilty. They refuse to do that with their own kind

their own kind? Cosby in political attitude was pretty conservative and in particular was quite vocal about the root causes of problems with the deterioration of the family unit - classic conservative position.

Now we have Duty to Report and required investigations by campus authorities. Can't afford to take any accusation as anything less than the gospel truth nowadays if you want to keep your job.
