It’s all the same standard to me. I see that people get out of facing charges because of their connections and it makes me ill. You bet us little guys they would charged and drag through the court ringer.

My favorite bit was when Gaetz reminded everyone about the time when tucker was once the subject of allegations of "a terrible sex act."

Thanks Matt, we'd almost forgotten about that. I'm sure Tucker appreciated that... Gaetz sounded like a guy who was thrown into the deep end and was grabbing anyone he could to push them down in order to stay afloat.

I've always said we should investigate and prosecute any and all.
I just think that getting rid of some (Trump) would be far more beneficial than getting rid of others.

It's unclear but seems like the claim may be that his Dad was going to wear a wire and catch the bad guys setting them up, but this news broke and ruined their plan to be exonerated.

So he gets to deny it, claim the FBI agreed with them that it was a set up and they were working together against the deep state, but then the liberal media reported the story and ruined the whole reverse sting.

Hits all the right wing buttons.

I think Gaetz knew the day of reckoning was coming. He tried to bury the story but the NYT got ahold of it. Now he's just gonna burn it down and end up making more money as a lobbyist/TV personality anyway

I’d bet he’s guilty. I’d also bet there are quite a few more in Congress that are just like him.
