And I believe basilio was one of the first to say it wasn't happening, but I could be mistaken.

It still doesn't excuse what these "relatives" did. Just because Martin hasn't done a good job doesn't mean they should go on the radio blasting the coach.

How would they feel if someone called in talking how their grandson/nephew was just some worthless walk-on?

Because basilio is saying pearls not returning, now his credibility is $hit and he shouldn't be paid any attention to. However if he was saying he's heard Pearl returning I guarantee these same people would be posting links to his site and saying he's got insiders.

It's kinda like how 6-18 months ago Clay Travis was a piece of $hit homer who blew james franklin. Now because he's posting about #BBB, he's growing on volnation and his word should be listened to.

It's comical.

I know one thing if my son was on the team and my mom and brother were ripping the coach I would have a serious talk with them. This is an absolute shame for family members to do something like that. Especially since they are not the parents!!

It also shows how low class Baslio is.

By the way I'm not for or against Martin. I hope he succeeds. Although if this year is any indication it doesn't appear that he will or has.

Basillo talking and making wild baseless claims...nothing new
Travis writing an inciteful piece then not following it up and making wild claims and assumptions in two separate interviews(or any)... very very strange to say the least.

I'd love to see you post the quote where he said "I lose, I leave" or where you said and "if I win you leave". Doubt you'll find one, only your assumption that the "bet" was reciprocated.

i wouldnt say that if Basilio said pearl was coming back bc he is an idiot and i have never ever heard a single prediction of his that come true.

As for Clay its the same thing with all announcers, everyone hates the ones that talk bad about us(espn for awhile) and like the ones that say good things about us.....if clay said pearl was or wasnt coming back it would be more believable bc he does have some credibility but he has not said either. i dont think anyone knows besides their own personal opinions.
