Credit Alabama. Coach Kerr (don't know her new name) had a great game plan and her players were MOTIVATED to execute it. Our players look like a pick up team at the local Y. I got ROASTED for my criticism of Kellie, and yes, I gave her credit for her halftime speech against Arkansas, but there's no excuse for your team to put up this kind of performance. Something IS NOT RIGHT. We fans may never know but there's more to this than just poor execution. And these substitutions and position switches are just horrible. You can criticize me all you like, but if this last 1/3 of the season is any indication, Kellie may not be the one folks. 18 years of Head Coaching experience, and this much talent, you should never put this product on the floor. I'd told the players if they didn't want to play then get their butts on the bus, and I'd put in all the reserved and give them the honor of playing time. GTSOTFD.

"....this much talent." Uh, you're missing the obvious: This team is NOT very talented--as anyone can see who knows anything about basketball. Are we talented enough to beat an Alabama team that was 3-9 in the conference coming into this game. Yes, sure, that I won't dispute. You have to be ready to play on the road in a major conference--away games are often tough--and we weren't ready to play.

Why in the world is Burrell going out with 4 fouls down 14 with 5 minutes left to go? You don’t have that luxury. Jfc

I admit I stopped watching this game, but I swear if they start pressing Alabama hard and cut that lead to low single digits I am going out on the porch and yell some of my more favorite college words into the wind.

Too late. They dug too much of a hole

Guess we're just gonna mail in every road game from now on no matter how pitiful the opponent is.

This isn't a talent problem it's an effort problem.
Said two weeks ago, if you can’t score you better give energy….dive on the floor, create turnovers, tie up the ball, get fouls on the opposing team. Do something productive…energy should be a given. Dane Bradshaw was limited in scoring but gave you all effort and created problems by his effort

I'm not going to criticize you, but people were starting up the "fire Rick Barnes" talk after those Kentucky and Texas games last month, and then Tennessee obliterates Kentucky on Tuesday and suddenly everything's better. There's certainly no excuse for this game, and I don't think anyone will argue with you about that fact, but I think I'll pass on basing my evaluation of Harper on this one result and wait to see how the team deals with this late season adversity first.

Thank you for your cordial response. I understand the CRB comparison, but Barnes was able to make the right adjustments and get his players humming like a fine machine...Kellie has not. I didn't say that we need to fire Kellie, I just pointed out the fact that with the amount of experience she has as a head coach, she should know the basics of substitutions, when to use man vs zone defense, etc. This has not been her best performance. But just like the team, she need to step it up and do better. Don't misinterpret me, I said she may not be the right coach for the future, but maybe she will. I hope she is and wants to improve as much as she wants her team to improve.
