It looked to my inexperienced eye as if a lot of the new underclassmen were tentative and weren't quite ready to call their own number, to to speak. They played tight and even passed up a few looks that I thought they should have taken. And as the game went on, to some small degree, they opened up and got a bit more confident, and started making plays as a result. Maybe first game jitters? I don't know. I could be misreading it.
No I think you hit it on the head. They weren’t expecting to have to be the leaders. None of them. Not Dye, Not Walker, and not any of the others. That’s why winning is actually a big deal. You had your role players step up for the entire game and win it. They didn’t have their veteran leaders(Players with 3 years in the system) to look to this game. It was on the backs of Dye and Walker and the bench. I’m not concerned unless Rae and/or Jody have to be out for an extended period of time
