On that last play, I wish we'd be a little more flexible with our decision making. It's like Jewel decided she was going to shoot it herself no matter what, and it led to a bad shot attempt.

The same press and constant trapping gives up transition baskets, offset by steals and quick scores BUT wears the other team down and provides chances for runs our way. Just part of the deal.

They have 4 players with 16, 19, 19, and 20 minutes at our speed. We have 1 at 16 and a few in the 9-12 range. Notice more open looks late? Not an accident. Late rebounding and loose balls on fresher legs.

BC she's backed away fm the "style" so much, esp on offense. I still don't like unabashed 3 chunking and neither does she. In fact the "style" is chronically overhyped and I'm glad she changed it up so quickly on O.

Still not loving the strategy of hoping to outscore the bunnies the press gives up, esp w questionable, streaky shooting on our part. Think I'll like that better next y.

This is not a game where we can afford to have our usual 3rd quarter lull. Bama could turn that 5 point lead into a 5 point hole in the first 2 minutes if we don’t come out locked in.
