Haven’t been in this back and forth. But her assists to TOs were fine today and she has to play. The issue today, and to a slightly lesser extent lately, is that she is not shooting jumpers when she gets inside 12 feet. She is mostly shooting odd floaters that are seldom close. She cannot be 2-10. She seems to listen to KJH. How hard is it for Kelly to just say jump stop every time it isn’t a layup?

We had 14 assist on 32 made baskets which is very good for us. Besides JH's 7, Walker had 3 in just 15 mins and Salary had 1 in just a couple of mins play. But the cost of those assists is just way too high, btw the t.o.s, the poor decision making and most of all, the abysmal shooting.

Re and Rae were 16-31 from the floor, and Key and KK both had 10 rebounds. These should be winning stats.

And if we lose one that quotes this site as a reason for leaving, it may affect future trolls and negavols ability to post

He's talking out of his @$$ like usual. She announced she was transferring, afterwards people were speculating that she was transferring so she could be with her girlfriend, and she posted a snippy retort on instagram or twitter telling people to mind their own business. Jaz was very diplomatic in her transfer announcement.

So I'm probably in the minority here, but I'm not terribly bothered by this loss. #6 team on the road and Tennessee made them work for it for 39 min and 30 sec. No shame that they couldn't pull it out. TAMU is a very good team and one of the most balanced teams in the country. They have one of the best 1-6 rotations in the country, including the best inside tandem in the SEC. I thought Tennessee needed to get Jones and Johnson in foul trouble to pull off the upset, and they didn't. Plus, Johnson outplayed Key...which I wasn't expecting. She had an outstanding game on offense and defense.

The team is in good shape with the wings and posts. PG could be better, but I think the bigger issue is the complete lack of a bench right now. Huge drop off when they go the bench. And Marta...God bless her, but why did she keep trying to post up Johnson when her post moves are so slow that Ciera has time to grab some coffee and still swat that shot.

Neither Burrell or Coach Harper complained about the foul. You don't foul a player taking a three. You don't go anywhere near fouling her. It was a really bad play on her part. Yes, it had to be called. It was obvious.

Should the ref have called the foul on the A&M player on Davis's made jumper? I mean, let the players decide the game, right?

Do you have the time of game where that push happened? I can't find it on the replay.

It was a winnable game but it wasn't a game they were supposed to win. Not a bad loss at all. They were right with them to the last minute.

The vast majority of the LV's losses have resulted from a breakdown in the 4th quarter. Can anyone give me an analysis of why this is happening to them?

Yeah, I agree with you. Besides, the only time anyone says this is when their team loses. Never have I heard, "Yeah, it was a foul on the three that allowed us to win from the FT line, but I wished the refs just let the players decide the game". It's either a foul or not a foul, Pitts did a great job realizing that Rae was off balance and the defense was a bit out of sorts, and smartly took advantage of it. She probably sensed that she was about to get fouled, so she made sure it was while shooting a three. If I were her and the refs didn't call an obvious foul because "let the players decide", I'd be pissed.

I'm plenty old enough. I've been a Lady Vol fan since the late seventies. As far as where I'm from? I grew up twenty miles west of Knoxville. Any more questions I need to answer, smart ass?
