Worth posting twice.Man UConn got blown out by NC State. You folks act like coaching doesn’t hinder players. It’s on tape! Stop spreading this ignorance about a lack of talent and constantly looking to go back and forth with folks.
Jewel Spear was scoring 20 and 30 pts against ACC teams with far less talent around her for 3 years.
This is a system issue.
If you hire an assistant to light a fire and be honest, shouldn’t that person be coach instead of assistant. At that point what is the rationale for having Kellie employed. Because she played for Pat?Don't like seeing anyone in life lose his/her job but a few things going have to change....
1. If Kellie wants to be buddy, buddy with players that's fine ....hire an assistant who will light a fire under the players behinds and be honest with them...
2. Jon Harper needs to go ...only thing he does is, well really don't know what he does besides carry Kellie her coffee...
3. Recruit better athletes....a few of current players are slow footed and are getting taken advantage of...
4. Someone needs to tell Jewel Spear this isn't Wake Forest this is the hard league...not ACC or Wake Forest soft OOC schedule...
So coaching. Nothing new just spun differently by adding Jewels past to the equation.Man UConn got blown out by NC State. You folks act like coaching doesn’t hinder players. It’s on tape! Stop spreading this ignorance about a lack of talent and constantly looking to go back and forth with folks.

I'm not into the keep it in the family spill...I'm just saying if Tennessee wants to keep her as HC ...Tennessee needs to find a straight forward assistant on bench or let Kellie go...If you hire an assistant to light a fire and be honest, shouldn’t that person be coach instead of assistant. At that point what is the rationale for having Kellie employed. Because she played for Pat?
yesIt the same thing every year and I try and figure out what I’m seeing or what they are trying to run only to watch the ball getting stuck with no movement from the other players. We eventually try and drive or dish only to turn it over or throw up a prayer in hopes it’ll go in. I still see no fundamentals on rebounds or seldom if ever see our players get a 50/50 ball.
Yes, the men went 1-2 in Hawaii, but I saw grit and hustle and could not overcome bad shooting percentages, but our ladies are as lost as a “goose in a hail storm” and can not compete with top notch programs and this does not include Troy.
