The answer to number 3 is she is recruiting. Someone still believes you can win with short points guards. Nope ! All I want for Christmas is a 6 foot point guard. Quick feet and brings the heat!1. No one on this team has stepped up as the alpha when RJ went out. We do not have a go to player right now.
2. We have to be tougher fighting for balls. We seem to let players take the ball away to often.
3. Why is a coach that was a point guard not be able to either coach up or find a point guard to lead the team?
Did you miss the inbound pass toward the end where we almost lost it becase OU player created a single player press?Or Striplin getting tossed to the ground? Half effort tie up by Tess? All of this in the final 3 mins of the half.Disagree completely. Effort has been there all game. Let's be frank without Jackson we are average at best. They play hard but most are not good players at this level to many mid major players. Wings on this team are not getting the job done period. Wynn comes off the bench she is clueless as how to play this game Tess good for some 3's but lags in so many other categories. 2 Transfer average college players. The only player in this tournament that have earned their Scholarship Strip and Powell. Frustrating Jillian she should dominate this team but again doesn't have it in her. Now I hope they prove me wrong here hope so. In CHRIST Alone
I would be ok with a small point guard as long as they know they are small. No more driving and throwing up a shot on a prayer. Learn to distribute if you are short. Scoring is the second option. The answer to number 3 is she is recruiting. Someone still believes you can win with short points guards. Nope ! All I want for Christmas is a 6 foot point guard. We thought Wells was going to be a point guard that would make a difference. She is totally lost and a different player at Tennessee. She outplayed so many top guards including Haley Van Lith while at Belmont. Now she can't even throw a pass in bounds.
KW has not been better.Tess needs to go to the BENCH. It’s so not fair to players like Kaiya to get fewer minutes.
Did not think it was possible, but I have a new level of respect for Rickea. The amount of problems her presence was covering is incredible.without rickea we just can’t flow well. it sucks losing one of THE BEST players in wcbb. she does so much for us.
Was thinking about you. So sorry it all turned out this way. I also never, ever thought the wheels would come off this badly without Rickea. This is so hard to watch on tv, can't imagine in person. Much more of this and it's going to be hard to reclaim much when Rickea comes back. Oh well, safe travels home. The girls are fighting, they just look so lost, on both ends of the floor. It’s so disheartening to witness in person. It already looks bad on TV. I really hope we can figure things out, this team shouldn’t look THIS bad, without Rickea!
Disagree….South Carolina and UConn wear us out because they have better athletes and speed. OU is a more athletic team than us. We keep speaking of Jackson being the missing piece…she is also our most athletic player.People that talk about speed and athleticism have always just been spreading ignorance.
This has nothing to do with talent. It’s the in game management. The lack of leadership from the sideline. This is a lack of accountability.
Every team on this schedule knows exactly what this team will do offensively and defensively for 4 quarters.
Players aren’t robots. But in this system right now they are building a system as if athletes play like robots.
Name one play ran in this game or any other game offensively where a Tennessee player get a clean/good look?
Where shooters step into a good look or come from a screen with a good look or a good option from a pass?
Switch the sidelines and I bet Oklahoma staff would be doing the same thing with TN’s CURRENT roster.
