I actually think the reliance on 3s in the men's college and pro games has yielded a less enjoyable fan experience.

Same. I get "analytics" but I also get that teams who score 2 point baskets are going to win games against those who miss 3 pointers.

Players have no idea how to post up anymore because they aren't taught that aspect of the game and guards don't know how to really distribute the ball. The Warriors had the talent a few years back to weave their guards in and out to create open spaces. That's a good trick if you are able to pull it off but few can.
