Game Thread: (21/21) Lady Vols at (22/23) Georgia

KK doesn't get enough love. She has her issues, but she plays hard, takes up space, and attacks the glass. Mark my words...her loss will be noticed, and not in a good way.

Even with recruiting, a freshman would not be able to replace Rennia, unless her Tennessee managed to get Fudd.

I read frequently how the refs have it in for us.... i see it differently.... refs are not out to get Key out of the game.... i will look at game again but i remember a block she made of Georgia shot early in 4th quarter when it was a pretty obvious body to body contact foul on Tamari

we need to beat the teams we should beat..... Georgia is not an elite team. but i think their coach is pretty good.... and that is what is needed in WCBB a strong HC and distributor PG

We stink! If we are favored to win an NCAA tournament game, we will lose. Bad coaching, horrible recruiting, too much talent to play this bad. At least Holly could recruit.

Holly couldn't recruit. Remember the no fall signers year then 1 3 star post in the spring. Sharona Reeves could recruit.

Lady vols needs to build the same strength each game. Paying hard whenever they meet top teams, then relax when playing average teams. U have to bring in same energy no matter who ur playing.

I watched every play and will the next game. I have also watched every game this season(unless not on TV or the app) and have seen ugly and pretty and all in between. I watched every game of Holly Ball, still here. I don't know how much more a real fan I could be. Where in my post have I said otherwise?
He thinks your friends that you can't convince to watch are you. I think.

I think your point is fair. Refs miss calls against both teams. But fans only see the bad calls against their team. We all do it.

Even though the SEC is rated as one of the top two leagues in the nation along with the Pac 10
Let’s see how many SEC teams are left when the tourney is in Sweet 16 and Elite 8 right now I am skeptical on how good this Conf really is.

I think we have as good as shot to get the most teams through as a conference as any other conference including the PAC 12

Here we go again. Turnovers, missed layups. Poor coaching and terrible play. Can’t keep making excuses for this.

It's not much the fouls they call on us but it's what they don't call on the other team .The fouls we get called for the other team does not. All you ask the refs to do is be consistent. Our post players are watched closely in the game and the opposing coaches probably ask the refs to watch them before the game starts. I have played coached and refereed in sports. You learn how to work a ref before the game starts. Coach KH needs to work on this a little more.

The team look exhausted, drained. So many of their shots were air balls or hit the front of the rim.

Agreed. It's a bad sign, especially in a string of quick turnaround games (like a multi-day tournament), when you see a player or team drawing front iron early in a game. That awful clanging noise. Meh. A sign that their legs are just "gone" so to speak. They can still play, can still make plays, but you know they're running low on gas.

i think they will get to rejuvenate this week. Another poster and I had differing views about squeezing in games and like i said if it’s gonna be play to just to and then a tourney right around the corner nope not worth it to me. Exhaustion leads to injuries in many instances.
