Looks like we'll be back in fourth in about five minutes. Then we have to take the last two games and hope Kentucky beats Georgia and even if they don't we got fourth if we win.

There is an old saying that kinda fits this type of play...Possums
...they play dead at home and get killed on the road.
Not sure it is that bad yet, but it is getting too similar to the way these girls are playing.

Beating a top five team, then looking that unprepared against a team you should beat reeks of Hollyball. Now all that positive momentum for the program, and Kellie having any chance at SEC COY... gone.

Disappointing, but not all that surprising...

I agree with you and the Lady Vols would have a chance legitimate chance to beat the best teams in the those other conferences. Louisville and NC State have both lost to mediocre teams in their conference and I'm currently watching one of the PAC-12 cream of the crop in UCLA lose to a slow Oregon St. team. KK and Key probably could outrun 75% of Oregon St. player (I'm exaggerating but they are slow).

No one would want to be in sixth you don't have to play for two days. You have to play someone good eventually A&M is a great team to and so are several more in the conference.

I said this was a trap game and it did not have to be. They tried their best to give it to us but i bet we had at least 20 turnovers. The last the dumbest of them all. Davis with the ball and about 8 seconds and she drives to basket and tries to pass the ball further inside and guess what happened 12 hands hit it and only 2 were ours and butterfingers missed it !

She could of lost to an unranked team like your boy Walz and gone is his hope of a number 1 seed 👀 better hope the PAC 12 beats up on each other AND NC state and TAMU choke

We are still solidly in the field and probably a top 4 just sayin lol

I know nothing about NC State except their rank .... but after their win today .... they look scary good.

Louisville and NC State are on the same level in the ACC. NC State was down 15 points with 5 min left in the 4th to one of the bottom tier ACC teams in Boston College. BC went cold in the last 5 minutes, was screwed by some bad calls in the last couple of minutes and lost the game. NC State beat Virginia Tech by 2 points with their star center playing and lost by 12 to Virginia Tech without her despite her replacement scoring 19 points and grabbing 9 rebounds. NC State win over North Carolina today means that they split the regular season series because North Carolina had beaten them a couple of weeks ago.

The SEC Conference is a tough conference and today we did not get it together until the fourth quarter. I do not think that because we lost to Georgia it is time to bash the coach and players. Georgia is a good program with several seniors. We had too many missed shots and we missed too many shots under the hoop. The defense wasn’t bad but the offense went South.

I would like to see a little more Saunders as a twin post. She seems to have a little more athleticism than KK. She seem to have some very good potential.

I agree with you 100% Davis should have shot the ball it was a layup also the game announcers said the same thing. Rae hurt this team more today then Davis i think force shots losing the ball, And for what reason kept trying to shot over a 6-5 player after they stuff your shot twice in a row then she tried a 3rd time.

C'mon Darth, you're trying too hard. This is over the top even for you. Who ever said they suddenly became consistent just bc they beat SC? They're capable of playing really well, far better than any Holly team ever dreamed of. Unfortunately also still capable of laying pretty big eggs. Also unlike previous teams, they are able to turn streaks of awfulness around and actually win the game, like with SC and almost today. This often happens in the 3rd quarter, right after presumably KJH been doing some serious coaching up. Maybe consistency will be the next step, don;t see why they wouldn't be able to get there on the current trajectory. All is not lost.

Not sure I'd say they were unprepared. They missed shots and made turnovers. Rae had an off day, maybe her worst of the season. Her off kilterness is directly proportional to how many times she falls down. Key seemed a little soft and tentative again and no one else was able to step up and help Rennia score. Our guards remain woefully poor shooters, our 3 pt game non existent. Our bench is short and thin. Our focus seemed off today and I guess you can blame coach for that but game mindset is so elusive and hard to coach.

Not the end of the world, but does put more pressure on the next few games to preserve the SEC bye.

If we get one of the 4 seeds it only shows the whole country is weak this year.
