lets wait and see how they play when they get here. i’m not writing them off as depth players or superstars until they wear the lady vol uniform. i do think it’s a good first class for kellie, and hope she will eventually start landing top girls to go with the her 2021 class.

Very few players out of the top 40 are elite and those are just facts when it comes to women's basketball. For both of them to be elite even less of a chance. I do think Wynn is legit and so is Pissot, not sure about the others just yet. I'd love to be wrong though. Either way I miss being in on top 15 players regularly.

That's the hope. At least some of them (likely Striplin and Puckett) will get get big minutes, assuming Rennia/KK don't come back, so they'll have the opportunity to showcase what they got very early on.

It's a shame Suarez, Salary, and Darby aren't able to come in and compete early. I do think Salary and Suarez have good to great potential though.

Salary can be another Meme Jackson if she has the right players around her. Suarez...not sure. She rebounds well, but she's awfully slow. She looked like she was in slow motion against the quick Georgia hands defending her and forcing her to turn the ball over.

I don't know how good or badKellie is but this was a bad loss. Disheartening. Just when you think they are on the rise...they do this.

I think to simply put things, Rennia has to come to play the entire game. If she doesn’t lead this team, offensively, we will lose 9 out of 10 times. She played very passive today. She is very talented, but her performances this season have been a shadow compared to previous years. I know we have more offensive threats than just her, the surprise of Rae, Jordan being aggressive, and the new presence of both Kasi and Tamari down low, but we need Rennia to step up. Come on Rennia, lead us to number 9!

Third quarter, Georgia was fired up and they played hard on every possession. Taylor had her team hustling hard even though they were down 15.
Tennesseee was acting like they already won. If Rennia comes back next year, I wonder if she will start tweeting about "respect" when Tennessee isn't in the preseason rankings? Poor thing hasn't realized in 4 years that respect is earned, not given.

Tennessee is a mediocre team with an unqualified coach. Georgia isn't that bad of a team, but they're not that good either.

I think we’re better then mediocre and I believe we’re going to be okay. Kellie isn’t Pat. No one is. I think we have the potential and I pray Kellie can bring that out of this group.

This team needed help in the third quarter last night from the sidelines and it wasn't there. That is stupid coaching, period. Every coach who has a remote clue how to coach "in game" calls a timeout to try and kill that run. Not doing so is pure stupid. Sorry, Kellie, it just is. If she wants to become a successful power 5 coach, she needs to not be stupid. She should have called two timeouts. One to kill the run and if needed a second one to light a fire under their azz. That was one of the laziest teams I have ever seen in the second half. Even with all that, if KK just catches the ball and puts it in like she had all night, we still win. What a time to fumble the ball. Hero to goat in a split second.

I don’t understand this sentiment...we were getting top recruits under Holly and we are still where we are. It’s not all about recruiting. It’s coaching, it’s heart, it’s work ethic. Until all of these things are put together we will wallow right where we are.

The potential is there but I think we’re all a little more than tired of potential. Potential doesn’t win a dang thing. Watching the players make the same critical mistakes we have for years is painful. I love Lady Vol basketball but when they play like that it’s very hard to watch.

I do think Kellie is a much better coach than Holly, but she still can’t get them to show up and play 40 minutes. That has little to do with basketball and a lot to do with motivation. We played decent in the first half and all we needed to do in the second half to win was play average basketball. We couldn’t even do that. Instead we delivered the most below average half of basketball TBA has maybe ever seen. Turnover after turnover. Layups and open 3s for our opponent and no desire to get a rebound. Hate to say it but on We Back Pat night it was especially egregious. She was rolling in her grave no doubt.

Unless they decide to give continuous effort we are in for a middle of the road season. The schedule only gets harder. When you play like that everyone else sees it too and they’re going to do the exact same thing. We’ll be seeing a lot of ball pressure and if it’s not fixed right now the turnovers and transitions layups will continue.

Fouling is okay if you have a couple to give
But when you don't and they foul and the other team goes to the line to shoot to me it just defeats the purpose you're already behind and they make their foul shots you're more behind the eight ball than you already were.
