*Game Thread* #4 Ole Miss at South Carolina

The sec is garbage this season. Usually its first ny a wide margin but not this year. And aaron corp had worse performance at qb than crompton against ucla. No team wins with that bad qb play and four fumbles.
I wouldn't go as far as saying the SEC is garbage this year, I don't think that its as strong as it was in the past couple years but I definitely don't think its garbage

Isn't that kind of a knock on the SEC? SEC is the best conference in the land and Ole Miss is the #4 team in the land. I think Ole Miss is overrated but still... if USC can lose to Washington, I don't know who this team with a pulse is that you speak of. I don't really think there is a dominant team this year. I don't know if it's a drop off or if everyone has stepped up to the occasion to make it a level playing field. There just doesn't seem to be a great team out there this year. Honestly, Miami is looking like one of the best teams thus far. I don't think they are that great though so I think there just isn't a dominant team.

USC was overrated and the SEC is down again this year. Bama still looks strong.

Like I said, if the SEC is garbage then everyone is garbage. There isn't a great team out there this year. Two ACC teams lost to FCS teams. I said I think Miami looks great but what does that say about their competition. And yes, Corp sucks and Barkley has looked good but do you really think a team led by an 18 year old is worthy of being called great? I don't. Clearly Ohio State isn't either for having lost to an 18 year old quarterback. There isn't a dominant team. Florida is as close as you're going to get and we know first hand they aren't that great. Their WR's will get healthy and sadly it should be a cake walk for them to championship.

I agree.

Bama's defense. I am not sold on their quarterback. And beating Virginia Tech doesn't seem to be that impressive looking at the ACC. I just think it's a level playing field this year. There is no dominant team. If Tebow doesn't get injured, I am writing them into the championship. I really thought two teams could beat them at the start of the season to knock them out but everyone appears to be average. Florida won't lose more than a game and they'll get the nod.

If that loss is in Atlanta, they're done.

Outside of florida and bama there isn't another top 20 team

I agree with this. Eh, maybe LSU. But yeah, Georgia and Ole Miss are not worthy of Top 25. Their record may be better than Tennessee but Tennessee has a good shot at beating both. And so far, Auburn is teetering top 25 worthy. I just can't say they are because I've seen too much of Chizik at Iowa State to believe he is a capable coach. He is not a good coach. Then again Iowa State's talent level was really bad. I've bought into him as being alright coach after the West Virginia game. Has a ways to go to prove my feelings toward him wrong.

That's true but if their loss is in Atlanta... they will pry have two losses. I think they drop a game during the regular season. I don't know why but I think LSU has a better chance of beating Florida than Alabama. Something about the quarterback situation in Bama bothers me. The inexperience. I'd rather have a quarterback coming off a bad season prior than a quarterback who didn't play a season prior. Unless it's Crompton....

agreed..Cal can't handle being relevant though..they'll drop a game or two

It's highly unlikely we run the table, but on paper we should beat any team left on the schedule. Our qb is far better than people realize and both of scs are far worse

Ole Miss(although they are looking overrated right now) LSU and UGA all are in the top 25 right now....I mean I'm not making an arguement that they are all world beaters because they aren't but I don't think a conference with as many in the top 25 as SEC is garbage...JMO
