The final score doesn’t indicate how dominant we were. We definitely didn’t play our best 2nd half, but the refs did everything they could to make sure Ole Miss didn’t get an @$$-whopping on their home floor. Killed all the momentum.

Ole Miss claws and did a great job of it in the second half of the game. Other than Austin and Scott they are not very good offensively. We didn't rebound well in the third quarter, but a 12 point win is terrific on the road.

In hindsight, I actually believe Ole Miss deeply believed they’d win this game today.

And this is entirely because in recent seasons Tennessee became a big name program so many programs like Ole Miss DID finally beat. We gave so many programs their signature wins that it’s going to take a while before opposing coaches will stop seeing us as a team they can steal an upset against.

Tennessee just has to keep winning these and eventually they’ll get the message.

The post game from SC- Kentucky . Game finished too early so Mcnutt and Lobo had to do a little overtime. They showed highlights of us vs Ole miss and Lobo sounded like she had stomach ulcers when she was forced to give a description of our team !! Of course she had every excuse for her Huskies even to the point where Mcnutt as asking about covid affecting the Oregon program only for Lobo to veer Back to talking about UCONN’s effects instead of Oregon smh

It was a tough road game against a fairly athletic and pesky defensive team. Still working her way back.

We play championship defense and we're relentless rebounders and Ole Miss just couldn't compete.

However, our PGs were not good today and kept us from closing out the game in proper fashion. And we HAVE to shoot FTs better...

Great game by Horston, Dye and Darby. However, the winning play goes to Coach Kellie Harper. Game and roster management were excellent. Great job by entire staff. At the end of the first quarter, Ole Miss ladies looked haggard, out of breath and wet with sweat. Our ladies looked cool calm and collected. Great job coach. Gut punch to Ole Miss.

I praise her for the matchup zone in the 1st half and the 2/3 zone played in 2nd half.....that to me was what won this game.the refs called the game correctly in 1st half but let Ole Miss get away with murder in 2nd half ...especially 3rd quarter.Darby put out in front to stay with her 3 straight 3 pointers and they were off to races except for the refs in 2nd half.They would call touch fouls on LV's on one end and would not call karate chops on the other end.The Ole Miss coach intimidated the refs pure and simple.Key needed some stickum ....she just could not catch the ball today nor secure rebounds either.Oh well ....why bitch they won by 12 .Go get Vandy now !!
