Exactly. It’s important for us to stick to what’s been working. Her presence alone, though, DOES elevate our play on the offensive end. Even with her not being anywhere close to 100 percent, you have to account for her which opens things up for others.

The way Tess can really become an all around better player is build up that upper body strength, She could be a lot more physical on defense and the boards. Sure her family was there today glad she had such a great game while they were watching.

Nah she has to get back to game speed. Only way to do it is in games. Tonight was not a good matchup for her. Too many small quick guards requiring change of direction she isn’t confident in yet.

Her shooting will improve as she works back into shape. Gotta get her legs back.

I saw her play a lot in high school and thought she could. I then lost confidence that she could. Now I believe again. She was more than just a three point shooter today those two steals she made probably would've been layups.

I am certainly not worried about Rae. I got sick at my stomach when she went down; thought our season may be shot, but so happy to have her back. I have as much faith in Rae as anyone on our team. She will be fine. She got some credit last year, but not as much as she deserved. Rae is one player in every game who will be all over the court making things happen. If we had everyone hustling like Rae does, we would be unbeatable. Just give her time to get back.

I’m looking at next season for them and it doesn’t look good. They have one 6’ wing in the 2022 class. I don’t see any reason Austin would stay. She must be counting on pulling a really good post player from the portal.

I think teams that benefitted heavily this season and who are planning on it again may be shocked. One thing I’ve considered lately is that we may see WAY fewer transfers this season. Last season was like the great migration. Gave lots of players and opportunity to find a better fit and it looks like it’s working for a lot of teams. Might not be so many jumping back in the portal.

Austin has been a terrible free throw shooter all season and today she hits 10 of 12. I think this is the best game she has played all season. 8 of 10 from the field surprised they didn't go to her more often. She hasn't played near this well in most of their other games.
