Tennessee wins.... with Karoline Striplin going 8 for 8 Tennessee shoes 64,3%. without her they are 10 for 20 on the FT line. Emily Saunders looked good along with most of the team. As always go Lady Vols.

Really do not know what they learned from this game but hope it was something that they can build on......looked like a game I have in my backyard a lot of the time tonite.

I think it's beneficial for everyone to get to go home for Christmas feeling happy for all the players who got a rare chance to play extensive minutes tonight and then played well. Don't underestimate how important that is.

Every now and then a poster says something that lets me know he or she has never played team sports at a high level themselves, and doesn't understand what its like to watch teammates you care about nearly always watching from the bench. The feeling of watching them play well when they finally get their chance to shine is exhilarating.

Missed the game to attend Boy Scout meeting as a VOLUNTEER! Sounds like some of the young uns got in the game and scored points. Concur with those who commented it was important to get those minutes before Christmas and being on an upward groove when enjoying the holidays. Love the Lady Vols! GBO! Have a Merry Christmas!

I will take an 11 turnover game against any team, especially playing so many players that don't play a lot for extended minutes. Nice confidence-boosting win before Christmas and SEC play.........

Actually 7 of the 11 turnovers were by the starters.

This was a game I think everyone needed, especially those who haven’t really been able to contribute much offensively. Emily Saunders and Rennie getting buckets, and multiple of them was huge! This team is going to be so much stronger when Rae returns!

In a game like this Puckett needs to take 20 shots. Really think she could be more assertive. She’s 5-7 and 2-3 from 3. Shoot that thang!

Sara ended up making 7 of 9 field goals, and 3 of 4 from 3 point land (75% shooting), plus 2 of 2 free throws. Get her the ball and let her go to town!

I missed this game too. I'll have to go back to see the replay for sure.

It was good for all the Freshmen to play together, these are their future teammates. There was shooting, but also assists, rebounds, etc. Sara does not take all the shots. It was also very important for her to play loose, and shoot more than she has been, because the whole team needs her to shoot more.
