Stanford has no one that can physically match up with Key. She does not have to score a point Saturday to dominate this game.

It all depends on the whistle. If she is allowed to play her game defensively, she's going to restrict their inside scoring. She will need to score if on putbacks alone. We need inside scoring threats to keep Stanford from scheming us outside.

They haven't been doing that great from the three, but that usually changes when they play Tennessee seems like they can throw anything up and it goes in. Going to be a tough game for Key as they can throw a lot of big bodies at her hopefully she can stay cool and out of foul trouble. We need Horston to lock in and bring her A game. She has been able to do it against the best teams we've played this season. Should be another nail biter down to the last possession hopefully when all is done Tennessee will be the winner.

Love to see all the TN kids. I think these lists are a joke though 2027 would be 7th graders at the moment. Half of these girls have not hit puberty. Very difficult to gauge how their play will change.

Jaiden Newman is a good example of this. She was a phenom as a kid and middle schooler. She hit puberty and her body changed drastically and so far as I can tell she’s not even being recruited.

just watch stanford vs texas stanford had a 6 year senior who had never played guard playing point. stanford has 6 5 red girl off bench hit two 3 pointers she played with their 6 4 softmore center who has a good looking shot to. just my oppion texas call more calls from the refs. stanford not same team as their last years. stanford bigs had three monster screens when texas was pressing stanford on one of them you hear the texas player hit floor hard. tenn guards better have their heads if they press and bigs need to let guards known about screens

That's good to know, I would like to see the stands relatively full (although given the calendar and the covid restrictions, limited as they are in Tennessee, I don't see that as a probability), but my question is directed more at Darth_Vol than any other fan.

Yes, I missed the Texas game but I'll be at this one. I'll be very curious to gauge the excitement/apathy level in Knoxville for myself...
