61-71 43.5 too little too late. Missed too many shots. Especially free throws

Everyone knows the way to beat Stanford is ball pressure. Why did Kellie wait so long to defend full court and trap? We always wait until the end of the game to defend when if we do it all game we’ll win.

The best chance They had was when it was 43-41 and Tn had like 4-5 straight possessions where they either turned the ball over or just straight up bricked shots.

Good effort in the second half of the game. I think that three they made to end the third quarter changed everything for the comeback. I don't even want to talk about that first half.

Yeah. Prechtel hitting those 3 to start the 4th was a dagger as well. Brink went out and we relaxed. Stanford has a deep and talented bench.

I like the fight back and am not surprised with these girls, but we really need Wynn to step up and earn playing time to not have to have unathletic players in the line-up.

Yeah free throws and Horstons first half was the dagger today. She had great numbers by the end but a horrible first half shooting.

We can't give up 70 points that is just not our game. Shooting 29 percent getting outrebounded by 10 not going to win any game.

Oddly they’re only a 58% FT shooting team as well. Just having a good shooting day. We contributed to that with our lack luster defense in the first half. The basket gets really big for good shooters when you give them a bunch of really good looks at it. Jump in particular got very open looks today. She’s one of the premier shoots in the country, should be on her like white on rice.

Free throws. Costly turnovers. Lack of execution on the offensive end. Weird lineup combinations. It’s the details that keep us from making our way back to being elite, IMO.

That being said, there’s still a lot of season left and hopefully these things can get fixed. Hopefully we get Rae back soon as well.

I knew when Key got in foul trouble it was not going to be easy. They played hard. I think this is a good team.
