JH and RK need to play about 30 minutes a game. It is important to keep one or the other in the game at all times to keep our offense going. Need both of the to play the last 6-8 minutes of the game together and not be worn out.

Horston and Jackson are both averaging 23 minutes per game. J.S

Surprising stat. Horston and Jackson each had +- stat of only 3. Many others had much better+- stats. Don't know what to make of this stat

Actually, if Rickea says she likes coming off the bench and the results stay this good, I could live with it. Ordinarily,I don't care if player likes it or not. But in this case, RJ was removed from starting as punishment and until that's restored it still feels like punishment. And wildly inconsistent with her current production. But if she's ok and it works . . .

Exactly, Rickea should only come off the bench if she is comfortable in that role. First people off the bench should be observing their opponents tendencies and ready to exploit as soon as they go in. There are few in WCBB with Rickea’s first step. Put your opponents back pedaling at the jump.

They need 30 plus mins each. The only problem is with the starting lineup, nobody else can score besides Jordan and that’s the problem

Hmm, I thought the 1st qtr was very poorly coached. Team was not focused, not sharp, not ready. Kellie was unable to change that for most of the quarter. Came back nicely though.

One thing I liked is how many different players had small but important contributions. Justine with timely baskets, Striplin with some very good passes, Walker with one of her best games, Sara and Tess with big buckets when we needed them. Franklin got the offense moving finally in the first quarter with smart cuts to the basket.

I know that's what makes lineup decisions hard for KJH. That's fine, that's why you get lots of money. But one lineup decision is not hard - RJ and JH together and alot.

So you think star players should dictate whether they start. Sorry there is no I in team. It is not about RJ. It is about the team. Has it occurred to anyone that Kellie's handling of the situation has worked really well?

No I think players who have been publically punished should have an opportunity to get out of the doghouse.

Also, if a player with RJ's obvious talent, easily the best in the gym most games, doesn't start, it begs explanation. Beyond punishment.

What is crazy about it. Letting a defense getting used to an average athletes speed and going to a much faster higher energy player and better athlete? Lets remember, Rae didn't go right back to the starting lineup a year ago and it took and injury for her to move back into that spot. This particular starting lineup played number 2 Stanford pretty tough. I bet we are going to see Kellie play long stretches with the seniors like we saw tonight, especially in the second half and to close out games.

There’s no I in team, but there’s I in win. Without Rickea, this game is a L. And no- I’m not saying that to say she should dictate whether she starts.

Kellie has said she is not in doghous. Explanatio. Is the team is doing better with RJ coming off of bench. She is no longer being punished. Facts

Agree to disagree. If you take my toy away as punishment, it's still punishment until you give it back. Unless I agree I don't want it or need it. Not starting her looks either stubborn or too cute by half.

As for the argument that coming off the bench is working, just think how much more it would be working given more, and earlier, opportunity.

Seems personal now. Darby is an off the bench player not the one dropping almost 30 tonight.
