Why does Holly pull Graves away from the basket? They rarely give it to her when she's posting up hard. Maybe it's me but every time for her to touch the ball she has to float out toward the the 3 point line.

IF the offense does not improve, this team will have a short shelf life in the Tournament.
If they ever meet UConn, it will be very ugly.

I have a feeling she is trying. Early in the game, the LVs missed some fairly easy shots off of turnovers, etc. and then it seemed like certain players, particularly Izzy got way too tentative going to the rim.

They looked a bit better in the 2nd half but there is still plenty of room for improvement.

I don't think it will be a massacre if the LVs bring the defensive intensity from Stanford and Texas A&M to the game.

My concern is that they seem to have slipped a bit from that high standard and now have 2 games in a row where they are not controlling the boards.

If you are not shooting well, you best be playing lock down D and dominating the glass.

The problem with this team is that they do not do the simple things properly. You see glimpses of how good they can be every now and then. Until they start doing what they can do and stop trying to do things they can't do, they will be disappointed with the final outcome for this year.

just watched the replay via espn3. ya'll sure weren't wrong about izzy's game last night. She was out to lunch, bigtime. imho

Tn might have to use Nia Moore just to keep up with Turner. Izzy is too slow dragging that bad leg around. ND has size & speed in the post. If Jones plays, we might have a chance.

has anybody heard anything about when and if Jones will come back ? they miss her hustle and intensity

it wasn't a pretty win,but it is a win,the think that bothers me,is that they seem to play to the level of there competition,which means they need to step it up big time come Monday

Which hopefully means that they will come out fired up against Notre Dame. They truthfully have played better against the better teams (Texas notwithstanding).

Establish Izzy early. Hopefully go right at Turner and let her pick up some cheap fouls, and keep Loyd out of the paint. This is a winnable game.
