I think this team has done ok with just six players playing virtually all the minutes. Holly recruiting failures helped lose this one today these girls have played a lot of minutes this season.

I wouldn't say Jordan didn't come to play. She had a couple of baskets that were half way down and came back out, plus that and 1 play and a huge steal.

Well, I watched the game...and our defensive effort was piss poor! I saw orange jerseys standing around watching Georgia players hustle for 50-50 balls! The team that gave the greatest effort won! Congrats to them!

Talk about her turnovers for all i care bottom line is that Diamond came to play and if she didn't show up then she would be bashed relentlessly like usual, even when she plays well some are still not satisfied.

Acceptable losses? There's no such thing as an acceptable loss. TAMU and MIZ both lost today.

They could lose to TAMU and MIZ even if they play just ok. Those are two solid teams.

The excuses some of you make for Holly and certain players are a joke!

Geno benched Gabby Williams in the second Quarter yesterday because he felt she wasn't given her all and she responded he didn't care about his short bench, he looked to send a message and yet we sit here and defend poor play and poor coaching decisions.

As a lady vol fan all of these years I have never felt like I have to settle like I am doing now.

The expectations are set high and losing to lowly teams are not of the Lady Vol standard.

If they lose any other games but MSU, I'm not sure they host, though. Maybe they could drop one of aTm/Mizzou but that could be costly.

Acceptable loss given our redefined expectations. Before it was winning the NCAAT, then it was just making the NCAAT. With the current reality being S16/E8, a road loss to UGA isn't the end of the world.

Btw, TAMU won and MIZ played MSU tough until Sophie Cunningham fouled out midway through the 4th quarter. Neither game is a gimme.

Well...put it this way...the head coach says she runs plays for Diamond and Mercedes to get them good looks...how about doing the same for a player that really has been the MVP for this team so far this season?

A number 3 seed was out of the question. A #4 seed likely means UConns bracket, so they are better off as a 6/7.

We just don't get enough help outside the big 3 and today it was only a big 2. How does a team go from beating ND and SC then lose to Georgia ?
I blame Coach J. !!!! :think_not:

Maybe because that player couldn't stay on the floor and was having a crap day. Don't you think that might have had something to do with it. Jaime could have won the game in regulation but she missed the free throw. It just wasn't her day.

And uconn never loses a game to a lowly team because they're tired or it's their third game in seven days. That, my friends, IS coaching.

Why did they go away from the pick and roll with Russell and Reynolds in OT, Georgia didn't have an answer for it.
